Dungenes Crab and Asparagus Salad

Hello, I have been out of town, but I"m back.  So here it goes, it is asparagus season.  Here in Cambria we have a friend who sells organic asparagus at our farmers market, and boy is it good.  You can probably find some fresh asparagus now in most good health food stores.

For the dressing:
1 cup mayonnaise
1/4 cup yogurt
1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
1 garlic clove, minced
1/2 teaspoon salt
Fresh ground pepper

For the filling:
1 pound of fresh asparagus
1 head romaine lettuce
1/2 pound of mixed greens ( what ever is in season )
1 pound of Dungenes crab meat

Blend all of the dressing ingredients in to a bowl and whisk together.
Wash all of the greens and asparagus and drain.
Cut the asparagus into 2-inch pieces on the diagonal.
Now toss all of the greens with the asparagus and add the crab meat, into a salad bowl.
Mix one cup of the dressing in to salad mixture.
Add more as needed.
Enjoy, Love Deb
P.S. this will serve about 6
